Akasheva earned the bronze in the women’s doubles finals, partnering with Ana Tofant of Slovenia. Their impressive performance marked a significant achievement for Kazakhstan in the international table tennis arena.

The bronze in Spokane adds to Kazakhstan’s growing presence in global competitions. Earlier this year, Kazakh players brought home a total of seven medals from the WTT Youth Contender Almaty 2025, further highlighting the country’s rising profile in the sport.
