King Salman and Crown Prince Donate SR150 Million to Launch “Generosity is from Us and Within Us” Housing Campaign
Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman have launched the “Generosity is from us and within us” campaign with a combined donation of SR150 million through the Jood Eskan platform.
The initiative reflects the Saudi leadership’s continued commitment to supporting national programs aimed at facilitating homeownership for eligible beneficiaries and families in need across the Kingdom.
On the occasion, Minister of Municipalities and Housing and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Developmental Housing Foundation (Sakan), Majed Al-Hogail, expressed his profound appreciation for the leadership’s unwavering support of housing initiatives in various regions of Saudi Arabia.
Al-Hogail noted that the leadership’s backing reinforces efforts to provide suitable housing solutions for deserving families and strengthens the Kingdom’s broader developmental objectives.
He also recalled that last year, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman announced a personal donation of SR1 billion to the Jood Eskan platform, directing that housing projects be completed within 12 months. The move underscored his strong commitment to accelerating housing delivery and ensuring timely support for families in need.
Officials emphasized that stable housing plays a pivotal role in enhancing social well-being, promoting stability, and advancing sustainable development. The initiative is expected to provide thousands of families with improved living conditions, security, and greater opportunities for prosperity.
