Korean Minister visits Samarkand

Samarkand, The Gulf Observer: The delegation led by the Minister of Employment and Labor of the Republic of Korea Lee Jung Sik, visited Samarkand.

The guests, accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Employment and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Rano Turdiboyeva, got acquainted with the activities of the Vocational Training Center established by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in Samarkand.

“These centers have become a solid foundation for our partnership in employment and labor migration”, says the Minister of Employment and Labor of the Republic of Korea Lee Jung Sik. – There are 4 such centers in Uzbekistan. We are planning to expand cooperation in this direction.

Members of the delegation visited the “Ishga Markhamat” monocenter in Samarkand, where they got acquainted with the conditions and opportunities for vocational training of unemployed citizens and highly appreciated its activities.
