KSrelief Expands Humanitarian Efforts Across Yemen, Lebanon, and Pakistan
Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continues its vital humanitarian efforts in Yemen, Lebanon, and Pakistan, providing essential services and supplies to vulnerable populations in these regions.
In Yemen, KSrelief’s Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center in the Seiyun district of Hadhramaut governorate has made significant strides in improving the lives of individuals who have lost limbs due to ongoing conflict. In December 2024, the center provided comprehensive medical and prosthetic services to 523 Yemenis, including the fitting of prosthetic limbs, physical therapy, and specialized consultations. These efforts aim to support the recovery and rehabilitation of individuals affected by the humanitarian crisis.
In Lebanon, KSrelief’s commitment to addressing the needs of refugees continues with the recent distribution of 175,000 bags of bread as part of the fourth phase of the Al-Amal Charity Bakery Project. The initiative, launched in Lebanon’s Akkar governorate and Miniyeh District, benefited 12,500 families—equivalent to 62,500 individuals—including Syrian and Palestinian refugees as well as the communities hosting them. This humanitarian effort aims to alleviate food insecurity among those most in need.
In Pakistan, KSrelief’s efforts to combat food insecurity remain ongoing. In flood-affected areas of Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces, the center distributed 1,500 food boxes to families in the Dadu and Sanghar areas of Sindh and the Torghar area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This activity forms part of the 2025 Food Security Support Project, which aims to provide essential nutrition to communities impacted by natural disasters.
These humanitarian projects are a part of KSrelief’s broader efforts to provide relief, support, and sustainable development to communities across the region, reaffirming Saudi Arabia’s commitment to humanitarian aid and international solidarity.
