Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) will host the fourth Riyadh International Humanitarian Forum on February 24-25, 2025, under the patronage of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, according to media reports on Monday.

With the theme “Navigating the Future of Humanitarian Response,” the forum will coincide with KSrelief’s 10th anniversary. Organized in collaboration with United Nations humanitarian agencies, the event aims to address critical challenges in humanitarian aid and foster innovative solutions.

The forum will convene global leaders, donors, humanitarian workers, and experts for discussions on enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of humanitarian response efforts. High-level panel discussions featuring distinguished researchers and specialists from Saudi Arabia and abroad will explore topics such as:

  • The role of humanitarian diplomacy in mitigating conflicts and disasters.
  • Strategies for the effective delivery of aid and relief supplies.
  • Addressing displacement amid escalating conflicts and natural disasters.

KSrelief, Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian arm, has been at the forefront of addressing global crises and supporting vulnerable communities. This forum underscores the organization’s commitment to fostering dialogue, innovation, and collaboration in the humanitarian sector.

The 2023 edition of the forum concluded with significant recommendations, including measures to reduce funding gaps in relief efforts and leverage scientific advancements and innovation for faster response and improved coordination.

The upcoming event is expected to build on these outcomes, paving the way for more resilient and adaptive approaches to humanitarian challenges.
