Kuwaiti Emir Receives UAE Crown Prince at Bayan Palace

Kuwait City, The Gulf Observer: His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, today warmly welcomed His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, at Bayan Palace in Kuwait City. Sheikh Hamdan, leading a high-level UAE delegation, is on an official visit to Kuwait.

The Emir expressed his deep appreciation for the UAE’s leadership and the strong fraternal ties between the two nations. He emphasized the historic and strategic partnership shared by Kuwait and the UAE, praising the enduring relationship between the two Gulf countries. Sheikh Hamdan reciprocated the sentiments, extending his gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality extended to the UAE delegation.

During the meeting, Sheikh Hamdan conveyed the greetings and best wishes of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. He relayed their heartfelt wishes for the health and happiness of the Kuwaiti Emir, and for Kuwait’s continued progress and prosperity.

Sheikh Hamdan commended Kuwait’s significant progress across various sectors, particularly in its pursuit of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals and the ambitions outlined in the “Kuwait Vision 2035” initiative. He acknowledged Kuwait’s prominent standing in regional and international affairs, crediting the leadership of Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah for the country’s esteemed reputation and its honorable positions on key global issues.

The discussions between the two leaders focused on the enduring bilateral relations and the strategic growth of their partnership across multiple sectors. Both sides explored avenues for further cooperation, emphasizing shared goals and aspirations for comprehensive development and progress.
