Kyzylorda’s Territory Expanded to 20,700 Hectares as City Advances New Master Plan

Kyzylorda, The Gulf Observer: The total area of Kyzylorda has been expanded to 20,700 hectares, the municipal department of architecture and urban planning announced, according to Kazakh media.

Officials stated that work on drafting a new master plan for the city is currently underway. As part of this process, the city’s territory has been increased by 172 hectares, bringing the overall area to 20,700 hectares.

“The city’s territory has been expanded by 172 hectares, bringing its total area to 20,700 hectares. The final stage of the project depends on state expertise requirements,” the statement said.

In 2023, approximately 40 projects were developed to enhance the architectural appearance of Kyzylorda. These initiatives include landscaping of alleys and public spaces, renovation of apartment building facades, development of the coastal zone along the Syr Darya River, and architectural design of social and engineering infrastructure facilities.

Earlier, Qazinform reported that Danial Shakizada, a seventh-grade student at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Kyzylorda, developed a mobile learning application titled CodeQuest, aimed at helping students acquire basic programming skills.
