Leyla Aliyeva Meets Elderly Citizens at Yasha Center in Baku

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, met with elderly citizens at the “Yasha Center” located in Icherisheher, Baku.
During her visit, Leyla Aliyeva ознакомилась with the activities of the center, where elderly residents actively engage in handicrafts, decorative and applied arts, and take part in various educational and cultural programs aimed at promoting social inclusion and lifelong learning.
Leyla Aliyeva held warm and friendly conversations with the elderly citizens, listened to poems recited by participants, and viewed handcrafted works created at the center. She was also briefed on the center’s planned initiatives and future activities designed to further enhance the well-being and social engagement of senior citizens.
The visit underscored the continued emphasis on supporting elderly members of society and fostering spaces that encourage creativity, communication, and active participation in cultural life.
