Leyla Aliyeva Strengthens Cultural and Educational Ties with Rwanda

Kigali, The Gulf Observer: Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, met with Clementine Mukeka, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Rwanda, in Kigali to discuss avenues for enhancing bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Rwanda, NHC reports.

The discussions centered around the “Development of Education and Culture in African Countries” initiative, with both sides emphasizing the importance of cultural and educational collaboration as a means to foster closer ties between Azerbaijan and African nations.

In a separate meeting with Rwanda’s Minister of Youth and Arts, Sandrine Umutoni, Aliyeva explored opportunities for cultural exchanges, youth programs, and educational partnerships. Both officials highlighted the potential of these initiatives to deepen mutual understanding and strengthen the bonds between the peoples of Azerbaijan and Rwanda.

These engagements underscore Azerbaijan’s commitment to building meaningful partnerships with African nations through cultural diplomacy and education.
