Peshawar, The Gulf Observer: The Deputy Head of Mission of Malaysia to Pakistan called on Faisal Karim Kundi, Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), during a meeting held at the Governor’s residence. The two dignitaries engaged in a productive dialogue focused on boosting business and investment collaboration between Malaysia and Pakistan, with a particular emphasis on opportunities within the KPK region.
Highlighting the province’s significant potential, Governor Kundi underscored that KPK, with a population of approximately 41 million—surpassing Malaysia’s total population—offers immense possibilities for trade, economic cooperation, and development initiatives. Both sides expressed mutual interest in strengthening bilateral economic ties and exploring new avenues for strategic partnerships, particularly in infrastructure, agriculture, tourism, and renewable energy.
The meeting marked a step forward in fostering closer engagement between Malaysia and Pakistan at the subnational level, reinforcing the broader goal of enhancing regional economic connectivity and sustainable growth.
