Malaysian Deputy Head of Mission Attends “Explore & Invest in Pakistan Conference (KP Chapter) 2025” in Peshawar
Peshawar, The Gulf Observer: Mr. Mohd Syafik Firdaus, Deputy Head of Mission of Malaysia, attended the Explore & Invest in Pakistan Conference (KP Chapter) 2025 as Guest of Honour in Peshawar on July 12, 2025. The high-profile event was jointly organised by Brain Designer and the Global Trade & Tourism Centre with the aim of showcasing investment and trade opportunities in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) region.
The conference was graced by His Excellency Mr. Faisal Karim Kundi, Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, who served as the Chief Guest.
Delivering a keynote address at the event, Mr. Syafik highlighted the importance of enhancing bilateral trade and investment relations between Malaysia and Pakistan. He emphasised Malaysia’s strategic role within the ASEAN region and its investor-friendly climate, inviting Pakistani entrepreneurs and investors to consider Malaysia as a gateway to Southeast Asia’s dynamic markets.
Reflecting on his time in Pakistan, Mr. Syafik shared personal insights and praised the nation’s rich cultural heritage, warm hospitality, and significant economic potential. He described Pakistan as a “wonderful country that more Malaysians should explore.”
The conference provided a timely platform to deepen economic linkages and promote mutual understanding between Malaysian and Pakistani stakeholders, further strengthening the enduring friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
