Modern Airpower Capabilities Highlighted During the Saudi Military Delegation Visit to CASS

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: The Centre for Aerospace & Security Studies (CASS), Islamabad, hosted a delegation from King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Command and Staff College, KSA, on 7 January 2026. The visit focused on the growing significance of the aerial domain in contemporary and future conflicts and the need to deepen cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, longstanding strategic partners. He added that the Strategic Mutual Defence Agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia has further strengthened and consolidated bilateral relations between the two countries. Following the welcome address, presentations on conclusions from CASS research and salient features of future Aerospace developments were delivered. The Q&A focused on the threat analysis of the Middle Eastern theatre and mitigation measures. Further discussion also focused on future cooperation modalities between the Staff College and CASS.
