Mongolian Delegation Explores Agricultural Cooperation in Batken, Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, The Gulf Observer: A delegation from Mongolia, led by Chairman of the Assembly of Representatives of the Dundgov Region Sandag Oderdene, Ambassador Gankhuyag Sodnom, and Assembly member Perenli Byambalhagva, arrived in the Batken region of Kyrgyzstan for a productive working visit, as reported by Kabar.

During their visit, the Mongolian delegation toured various agricultural sites, including a goat breeding cooperative, apricot plantations, and seedling cooperatives in the Kadamjai region. They engaged in discussions with local farmers and gardeners to explore potential collaborations and share experiences in agricultural development.

Governor Abdikarim Alimbayev of Batken Oblast held constructive discussions with the delegation, focusing on the enhancement of livestock farming in Mongolia. Both parties agreed to exchange expertise in goat breeding, with discussions underway for potential goat imports from Mongolia in the upcoming fall season.

Furthermore, the delegation and local authorities explored opportunities for mutual benefit, including the exchange of apricot and almond seedlings between Batken and the Dundgov region of Mongolia.

Governor Alimbayev extended an invitation to the Mongolian delegation to participate in the upcoming II Investment Forum scheduled to be held in Batken in October this year.

To solidify their commitment to cooperation, a memorandum of intent was signed between the Batken Oblast state administration and the administration of the Dundgov region of Mongolia, outlining mutual objectives and areas of collaboration in agriculture and economic development.

The visit of the Mongolian delegation underscores the growing bilateral ties and shared interests in agricultural development and economic cooperation between Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan, paving the way for enhanced partnerships and exchanges in the future.
