Morocco Qualifies for All Three FIFAe Finals 2025 Competitions

Morocco

Rabat, The Gulf Observer: Morocco has officially qualified for all three categories of the upcoming FIFAe Finals 2025, becoming one of the few nations in the world to achieve full representation. The prestigious global eSports tournament will be held from December 10 to 19, 2025, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, bringing together the world’s top-performing eSports nations.

Morocco will participate in the following categories:

  • Console eFootball (December 10–13)
  • Mobile eFootball (December 10–13)
  • Rocket League (December 15–19)

According to FIFA, a record 94 countries entered the qualification process this year, making the 2025 edition the most competitive to date. With this achievement, Morocco joins the ranks of elite nations such as Brazil, Japan, France, and Saudi Arabia, the latter being the reigning console titleholder from 2024.

The official group draw is scheduled for November 12 at 20:00 (GMT+3) and will be streamed live on Twitch, YouTube, and FIFA’s digital platforms.

Morocco’s eSports Journey

Morocco’s eSports journey began to take shape in 2019, with the launch of local tournaments such as the INWI Gaming Fest and the emergence of teams like Anfa Esports. The nation’s first official FIFA competition, ANFACUP, followed in 2020, laying the foundation for a structured eSports ecosystem.

Since then, Morocco has made significant strides in titles like FIFA, Rocket League, and mobile eFootball, gradually evolving into a competitive force on the international stage. The Moroccan national team has been competing in the FIFAe Nations Series since 2022, and in 2023, it reached the quarterfinals of the FIFAe Nations Cup, overcoming strong teams such as France, while securing draws with Italy and the United States.

Renowned players including Anas Ouahdani (Anas08), Aymane Mokallik (Aymane), and Marwan Chahhou (MarwanMC9) have been instrumental in building Morocco’s reputation within the international FIFA community.

In Rocket League, Morocco’s qualification for the FIFAe Finals 2025 represents a historic first, as the country makes its debut at the global level. Securing its spot through the MENA regional qualifiers, Morocco now stands among only 16 nations to qualify for this category in Riyadh, showcasing the nation’s growing strength in diverse eSports disciplines.

On mobile eFootball, Morocco’s qualification further underscores the rapid rise of young players who have honed their skills through local and regional tournaments. The growing popularity of the mobile format reflects Morocco’s expanding base of emerging eSports talent.

A New Era for Moroccan eSports

This triple qualification — in console FIFA, mobile eFootball, and Rocket League — firmly establishes Morocco as a rising powerhouse in global eSports. The country’s continued investment in training programs, domestic tournaments, and talent development is now paying off, with its teams set to represent Morocco with pride on the world stage this December.

With momentum on its side and a new generation of skilled gamers leading the way, Morocco is ready to write a new chapter in its eSports journey at the FIFAe Finals 2025 in Riyadh.
