Morocco to Host Third Edition of Morocco Gaming Expo in Rabat in May 2026

Rabat, The Gulf Observer: Morocco’s Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication, through its Department of Communication, will host the third edition of the Morocco Gaming Expo from Wednesday, 20 May to Sunday, 24 May 2026, at the Sofitel Jardin des Roses in Rabat.
The event is positioned as a major national gathering for gaming enthusiasts, industry professionals, and eSports competitors from across the country, reflecting the growing prominence of the gaming sector within Morocco’s digital and creative economy.
Building on the success of previous editions, the 2026 expo will be held under the theme “Moroccan Talent,” with a strong focus on showcasing local creativity, innovation, and expertise in gaming and eSports. Organizers noted that the event aims to highlight the rapid growth of the sector and its expanding economic and cultural impact at the national level.
At the core of the expo will be an interactive exhibition platform designed to present the full breadth of Morocco’s gaming ecosystem. The platform will bring together public institutions, startups, funding operators, professional federations, foundations, hardware manufacturers, telecommunications companies, training providers, and cloud gaming services. Through live demonstrations, project showcases, and professional networking sessions, the exhibition will facilitate collaboration between creators, investors, and key industry stakeholders, while offering visitors insight into the sector’s current capabilities and future prospects.
Morocco Gaming Expo 2026 will also host five major thematic forums addressing key dimensions of the gaming industry. These include the Government Forum, focusing on public policy and international cooperation; the Business Forum, centered on investment opportunities and economic models; the Game Safe Forum, dedicated to ethics and security; the Game Engine Forum, exploring game development technologies; and the Developers Forum, tailored for programmers, artists, and creative professionals. Each forum will feature panel discussions, workshops, and masterclasses led by Moroccan and international experts.
A major highlight of the expo will be the eSports Tournaments Platform, described by organizers as the competitive centerpiece of the event. The platform will host national tournaments across four popular titles played on different platforms, including Free Fire on mobile, EA SPORTS FC 25 on console, and Valorant and Street Fighter 6 on PC.
With its expanded program and emphasis on local talent, Morocco Gaming Expo 2026 is expected to further strengthen Morocco’s position as an emerging hub for gaming and eSports in the region.
