New Zealand beat Pakistan by 2 wickets, clinch series 2-1

Karachi, The Gulf Observer: New Zealand on Friday clinch the three-match series 2-1 after beating Pakistan in the third and final ODI at the National Stadium in Karachi. Chasing a target of 281, New Zealand crossed the finishing line with 11 balls to spare. Glenn Phillips starred with an unbeaten 63 while captain Kane Williamson (53) and Devon Conway (52) also hit half-centuries at the top of the order. Earlier,Fakhar Zaman scored his 8th century, while Mohammad Rizwan scored a steady half-century as Pakistan posted a total of 280/9 against New Zealand in the third ODI in Karachi. Zaman slammed a brilliant 101, while Rizwan chipped in with a valuable 77 after Pakistan had lost early wickets. Pakistan skipper Babar Azam won the toss and opted to bat against New Zealand in the third and final ODI match, at the National Stadium, Karachi on Friday.
