Noura Al Kaabi Delivers Keynote Address at Youth 4 Sustainability Forum

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of State, delivered a keynote address at the annual Youth 4 Sustainability (Y4S) Forum, held as part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week from Jan. 13 to 15.
The forum brought together more than 3,500 young participants from around the world to engage in discussions, debates and dialogue on issues critical to global development and the future of youth worldwide.
In her address, Al Kaabi underscored the importance of ethical leadership at a time of growing global complexity, marked by climate pressures, socio-economic uncertainty and rapid technological change.
She urged young leaders to “make decisions guided by the common good, not merely by what is easiest, most popular or most profitable,” and encouraged them to lead with purpose and responsibility.
“Lead with intention and understand how your choices affect others, especially those whose voices may not always be heard,” she said.
Al Kaabi also called on youth to actively engage in addressing issues of national and global importance, with a particular focus on sustainability. She invited participants to play a role in advancing water security, highlighting the significance of inclusive and youth-driven action.
She pointed to the 2026 United Nations Water Conference, which will be co-hosted by the United Arab Emirates and Senegal and held in the UAE from Dec. 2 to 4, 2026, as a key platform for meaningful youth leadership to drive collective action on water security and promote a water-secure future for all.
