Oman and Sweden Hold Third Round of Political Consultations in Stockholm

Stockholm, The Gulf Observer: The third round of political consultations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Sweden was convened on Monday in the Swedish capital, Stockholm.

The Omani delegation was led by Ambassador Munthir Mahfoudh Al Manthri, Head of the Europe Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while the Swedish side was headed by Michael Lindvall, Director-General and Head of the Global Affairs Department at Sweden’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the session, the two sides reviewed the state of bilateral relations between Oman and Sweden and discussed prospects for enhancing cooperation across various fields. The consultations also included an exchange of views on a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest.

The meeting was attended by senior officials from both countries.
