Oman Welcomes US–Iran Ceasefire, Praises Pakistan’s Role in De-escalation Efforts
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman has welcomed the recent ceasefire announcement between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran, describing it as a positive step toward reducing regional tensions.
In an official statement, Oman expressed appreciation for the diplomatic efforts undertaken by Pakistan, as well as all parties involved in facilitating the ceasefire agreement.
The Sultanate emphasized the importance of building on the current momentum by intensifying diplomatic efforts to address the root causes of the crisis. It underscored that such initiatives are essential to achieving a permanent cessation of hostilities and ensuring long-term peace and stability in the region.
Oman reaffirmed its support for constructive dialogue and peaceful solutions aimed at fostering security, cooperation, and sustainable stability across the Middle East.
