Oman, Belarus Discuss Expanding Economic and Investment Cooperation

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, on Thursday received Maxim Ryzhenkov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, along with his accompanying delegation, to discuss avenues for strengthening bilateral ties.
During the meeting, both sides explored ways to enhance economic and investment cooperation and broaden the scope of partnership between the two countries. The discussions highlighted the importance of building upon the outcomes of the Omani-Belarusian Joint Committee for Cooperation and Investment, which serves as a key platform for advancing mutual interests.
The Belarusian foreign minister reaffirmed his country’s commitment to deepening relations with Oman, expanding cooperation across various sectors, and promoting the exchange of expertise. He emphasized that such collaboration would contribute to achieving the sustainable development goals of both nations.
The meeting underscored the shared intent of Oman and Belarus to further solidify their partnership and foster long-term economic collaboration.
