Oman Calls for Immediate Ceasefire and Return to Regional Diplomacy

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi has expressed the Sultanate’s deep appreciation to people around the world who have voiced support for Oman’s efforts aimed at stopping the ongoing war and promoting peace in the region.
In a statement, Al Busaidi said Oman values the solidarity shown by individuals and communities from across the globe who have backed the country’s diplomatic initiatives to reduce tensions and encourage dialogue.
He noted that this international support further strengthens Oman’s resolve to continue advocating for peace and stability. The foreign minister reiterated the Sultanate’s call for an immediate ceasefire and emphasized the urgent need for a return to responsible and constructive regional diplomacy.
Al Busaidi stressed that opportunities for de-escalation remain available, urging all parties involved to make use of these diplomatic avenues to prevent further escalation and work toward a peaceful resolution of the conflict.
Oman has long played a mediating role in regional affairs, promoting dialogue and diplomatic engagement to address conflicts and maintain stability in the Middle East.
