Oman Inaugurates First Edition of Innovation Festival
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: The inaugural edition of the Oman Innovation Festival commenced on Monday at the Muscat Innovation Complex, marked by a grand opening ceremony under the theme of ‘Knowledge, Partnership, and Sustainability.’ Organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation, the festival’s activities are set to unfold over five days, showcasing the Sultanate’s commitment to fostering innovation and collaboration.
Under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, the festival aims to be a flagship event promoting the principles of knowledge exchange, strategic partnerships, and sustainable development.
The Muscat Innovation Complex served as an ideal venue for the festival, bringing together innovators, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders from various sectors to explore and showcase cutting-edge ideas, research, and technological advancements.
The opening ceremony featured addresses from key dignitaries, including officials from the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation, highlighting Oman’s dedication to becoming a hub for innovation in the region.
