Oman Participates in Fifth Japan-Arab Economic Forum
Tokyo, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman participated in the fifth Japan-Arab Economic Forum, which concluded today in Japan.
Oman was represented by Dr. Mohammed Said Al Busaidi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Japan. In his speech, Al Busaidi highlighted the advanced economic relations and strong cooperation between Oman and Japan, particularly in the areas of education, culture, and tourism.
Al Busaidi emphasized the significant cooperation between the two countries in economic sectors, notably in green hydrogen and energy.
The forum addressed various topics of interest to both Japan and Arab countries, including sustainable economic development, mutual investment, economic diversification, innovation, climate change, green products, conservation of clean water sources, waste recycling, hydrogen and ammonia, carbon storage and sequestration, new technologies in telecommunications, artificial intelligence, and building resilient supply chains.
The event was attended by prominent figures such as Secretary-General of the League of Arab States Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Japanese Foreign Minister Kamikawa Yoko, and Japanese Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Saito Ken.
