Oman to Host Omani-Saudi Franchise Exhibition to Boost Cross-Border Investment

Omani-Saudi

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), in cooperation with the Federation of Saudi Chambers, will host the Omani-Saudi Franchise Exhibition from 30 September to 2 October at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre. The event will be held under the patronage of Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance, with the participation of ministers, senior officials, and business leaders from both Oman and Saudi Arabia.

The exhibition will feature more than 100 trademarks from Oman, Saudi Arabia, and international companies across diverse sectors including food security, trade and retail, industry, financial and legal consulting, intellectual property, and services. The event seeks to expand cross-border investment opportunities, strengthen economic partnerships, and attract entrepreneurs and investors from both countries and beyond.

Organizers noted that the exhibition provides a direct platform for companies and investors to explore franchise agreements, partnerships, and innovative business models. By showcasing successful enterprises, the event also aims to promote entrepreneurship, support the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and facilitate knowledge transfer.

Running alongside the exhibition will be the Omani–Saudi Business Forum and the Omani–Saudi Joint Business Council meeting, where discussions will focus on deepening bilateral cooperation and identifying new areas for investment. A series of workshops and panel sessions will also address global franchising trends, international expansion strategies, and practical steps for building franchise-ready businesses, while highlighting regional success stories.

Several franchise agreements are expected to be signed during the event, underscoring its role as a catalyst for strengthening economic cooperation between Oman and Saudi Arabia.
