Oman to present "The Global Music Ensemble"

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: Oman Royal Opera House Muscat (ROHM) announced a special concert entitled “The Global Music Ensemble”, a world music event which offers a magical blend of music from a range of cultures and nations.

The Global Music Ensemble is the collaboration between eleven extraordinary musicians. Based in Belgium, but hailing from diverse corners of the world, together they have created a unique multicultural group. Inspired by the acoustic traditions from all around the globe, the repertoire of the Global Music Ensemble consists of original compositions created by the members of the group. Their work explores the most diverse combinations of sounds, textures and influences, travelling beyond all stylistic and geographical borders. The ensemble is comprised of two Belgian bands MOTYK and TROISSEUR, with the additions of soloists, Nathan Daems (Woodwind), Simon Lelueux (Percussion), Osama Abdulrasol (Qanun) and Tsubasa Hori (Taiko Drums). Audience will enjoy a performance full of energy, musical fireworks and acrobatic instrumental excellence, taking the audience on an unforgettable magical journey through time and space. The performance will take place at ROHM on Saturday 3 December 2022.
