Oman vessel rescues an Iranian boat
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: A Royal Navy of Oman vessel rescued an Iranian boat, 23 nautical miles from the Muscat Governorate, outside Omani territorial waters.
This came after the Operations Centre at Said Bin Sultan Naval Base received a report from the Coast Guard of the Royal Oman Police that a boat had broken down in the sea.
One of the ships of the Royal Navy of Oman sailed in response to the distress call, carrying out the rescue operation and towing the boat to Sultan Qaboos Port in the Muscat Governorate.
