Omani Deputy Prime Minister Meets Iraqi Prime Minister on Sidelines of 34th Arab Summit

Baghdad, The Gulf Observer: His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman and Head of the Omani delegation to the 34th Arab Summit, met on Friday with His Excellency Mohammed Shia Al Sudani, Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq, on the sidelines of the summit held in Baghdad.

During the meeting, the two leaders reviewed the fraternal relations between Oman and Iraq and discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation across various fields.

The discussions also included an exchange of views on regional and international developments of mutual interest, reaffirming both countries’ commitment to continued dialogue and collaboration in addressing shared challenges.

The meeting reflected the keenness of both sides to strengthen strategic partnerships and foster closer ties in the interest of regional stability and prosperity.
