Omani Ministry of Information Premieres “House of Wonders” Documentary at Royal Opera House Muscat
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: The Ministry of Information, through Nizwa Magazine, is set to launch the inaugural screening of the documentary film “House of Wonders” (Bait Al Ajaib) at the House of Musical Arts in the Royal Opera House Muscat tomorrow.
This captivating three-part documentary delves into the rich Omani legacy in Zanzibar and East Africa, accompanied by a comprehensive book chronicling Oman’s cultural influence in the region.
The focal point of “House of Wonders” encompasses the manifold aspects of Oman’s historical footprint. Each segment, lasting 50 minutes, has been meticulously crafted in three languages: Arabic, English, and Swahili.
The film meticulously showcases the pioneering cultural contributions of Omanis across political, commercial, social, and cultural domains, notably the propagation of Islam and Arab culture in East Africa. Each section of the documentary introduces a central character entwined with pivotal political, social, and cultural events.
Filmed across diverse global locations, including Zanzibar, various African and Asian countries, as well as sites in Europe, America, and the Sultanate of Oman, “House of Wonders” provides a comprehensive visual narrative of Oman’s enduring cultural influence on the world stage.
