Omani-Pakistani Business Forum Explores Collaborative Opportunities
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: The Omani-Pakistani Business Forum convened today to discuss potential avenues for collaboration between Oman and Pakistan across various sectors, including economics, health, and entrepreneurship.
During the forum, the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (OPAZ) presented a visual display highlighting investment opportunities and incentives available to investors in these zones. The presentation aimed to attract interest from both Omani and Pakistani business communities.
Discussions also encompassed opportunities present in Pakistan, allowing participants to gain insights into the regional economic landscape. A panel discussion further elaborated on business prospects and the legal frameworks supporting investment in both countries.
In addition to the discussions, an exhibition was organized to showcase a range of Pakistani products, fostering direct interaction between businesses from both nations.
Faisal Abdullah Al Rawas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), emphasized the significance of enhancing joint projects, commercial exchanges, and investments between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Pakistan. He underscored the need for initiatives that promote economic diversification and sustainable growth in both countries.
The forum served as a platform for fostering stronger ties between Omani and Pakistani businesses, paving the way for future collaboration and mutual benefit.
