Oman’s Yousuf Shaaban dies aged 38
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: Yousuf Shaaban Al-Busaidi, known as Yousuf Shaaban, passed away on Friday evening after suffering from illness.He was one of the most prominent football stars in the Sultanate of Oman, where he played in the ranks of Dhofar Club and Al Shabab Club.
Yousuf Shaaban Al-Busaidi was born in the Wilayat of Barka and was born in 1984. He started football with the Club Dhofar S.C.S.C from 2003 to 2011, then moved to Al Shabab Club for two years and then returned to the Club Dhofar S.C.S.C.
Late Yousuf Shaaban was considered one of the golden generation players of the national football team.
He had played a key role in the final of the Gulf Cup three times in a row, and the crowning of the 19th Gulf Championship that was held in Muscat.
