Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq: PAF and Army Strikes Leave 133 Afghan Taliban Dead, Over 200 Injured

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Pakistan’s “Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq” is ongoing in response to what has been described as an unprovoked action by the Afghan Taliban regime. According to security sources, air force and ground force attacks have resulted in the deaths of 133 Afghan Taliban personnel and injuries to more than 200 others. A total of 27 Afghan check posts have been completely destroyed, and nine Afghan posts have been captured where the Pakistani flag has been hoisted.
In a strong retaliatory response, security forces reportedly destroyed three Afghan battalions and a sector headquarters, while also turning an ammunition depot into rubble. In the effective counteraction, more than 80 tanks, artillery units, and armored vehicles were destroyed. While defending the homeland, two Pakistan Army soldiers were martyred and three others were injured.
According to security sources, Pakistan Air Force strikes are ongoing, and a large ammunition depot in Nangarhar has been destroyed. Afghan Taliban regime posts are also being selectively targeted through drone operations.
Security forces destroyed another Afghan post in Angoor Adda and reportedly captured a post in Afghanistan’s Paktika province. Sources stated that Pakistan’s security forces delivered a strong response in the Nawagai sector of Bajaur, as well as in Tirah and Khyber. Pakistani security forces also responded forcefully in Mohmand district and the Arandu sector of Chitral. In Bajaur, two Afghan Taliban check posts were destroyed.
On the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Mohmand’s Gursal sector, Pakistan Army’s strong retaliatory action is ongoing, where Afghan Taliban check posts have reportedly been destroyed.
Sources stated that Pakistan’s security forces are fully prepared to deliver a strict and immediate response to any form of aggression.
According to security sources, attempts by the Afghan Taliban to attack Pakistani security check posts using quadcopters were thwarted, and all quadcopters were shot down through timely action by Pakistani forces. Shelling through small and heavy weapons is reportedly ongoing. Afghan Taliban regime posts are being selectively targeted through drone strikes.
Security sources claimed that Afghan Taliban media and social media are circulating false claims and fake videos.
The Pakistan Air Force reportedly carried out effective operations destroying key military installations in Kabul, Kandahar, and Paktia. According to security sources, two brigade headquarters were destroyed in Kabul during air operations. In Kandahar, a corps headquarters, a brigade headquarters, an ammunition depot, and a logistics base were reportedly destroyed. In Paktia, a corps headquarters was also said to have been destroyed.
Pakistani security forces reportedly gained control of Afghan posts and hoisted the national flag there.
The Pakistan Army conveyed a clear message that any border violation or provocation would receive an immediate and decisive response. Soldiers stationed at the Pakistan-Afghanistan border reaffirmed their resolve to defend the motherland.
A Pakistan Army soldier stationed at the Bajaur border stated that the Afghan Taliban do not realize whom they have challenged, warning that if anyone engages in aggression at the behest of India, it would prove very costly.
According to security sources, the Pakistan Army is effectively targeting Afghan Taliban hideouts, and Afghan Taliban personnel have reportedly abandoned their posts. In South Waziristan, the Pakistan Army destroyed the Afghan Taliban’s Dawood post during an operation.
All attempts by the Afghan Taliban to attack Pakistani security check posts using quadcopters were reportedly foiled. Security sources further stated that an Afghan Taliban check post in the Chitral sector was targeted and destroyed by Pakistani security forces. Afghan Taliban forces reportedly opened fire at various locations along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
