Over 100 Palestinians Killed in Israeli Strikes Across Gaza in 24 Hours
Gaza City, The Gulf Observer: At least 100 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli strikes across Gaza within the past 24 hours, according to the Palestinian Civil Defence, as the humanitarian crisis in the war-torn enclave deepens.
Medical sources report that the victims include women, children, and civilians who were caught in targeted shelling and airstrikes.
Four Palestinians lost their lives in Israeli shelling that struck a gathering of civilians in the Shaboura refugee camp in the southern city of Rafah, according to medics.
In Khan Younis, two children were killed and several others injured when an Israeli helicopter struck a tent sheltering displaced families in the Al-Mawasi area.
In central Gaza, a separate airstrike targeted a house in the Al-Mufti area, north of the Nuseirat refugee camp, leaving one Palestinian dead, paramedics said.
Humanitarian organizations and medical officials have warned of the escalating violence and its catastrophic toll on the civilian population, with shelters and densely populated areas increasingly being hit.
The ongoing conflict has left Gaza’s already fragile healthcare system overwhelmed, with medics struggling to cope with the surge in casualties and limited resources. Appeals for international intervention to protect civilians have intensified amid the growing devastation.
