Over 9.8 Million Worshipers and Visitors Flock to Prophet’s Mosque in First 10 Days of Ramadan
Madinah, The Gulf Observer: The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has disclosed that the Prophet’s Mosque welcomed a staggering 9,818,474 worshipers and visitors during the initial 10 days of Ramadan, facilitated by integrated and high-quality services aimed at ensuring a seamless and efficient prayer experience.
As per the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), statistics released by the authority revealed that 739,702 individuals paid homage to the tomb of Prophet Mohammed, adhering to meticulously organized procedures that regulate crowd movement and establish specific prayer times for both men and women.
Furthermore, the report highlighted that 26,910 elderly individuals and persons with disabilities benefited from specialized services provided to them during the preceding week. Moreover, guidance services were extended to 132,893 visitors seeking assistance. Additionally, a remarkable 195,800 bottles of Zamzam water were distributed, while 2,908,530 Iftar meals were generously disbursed in designated corridors of the mosque to cater to fasting individuals.
The impressive turnout and the seamless execution of services underscore the dedication of the authorities to ensure the comfort and spiritual fulfillment of worshipers during the holy month of Ramadan at the revered Prophet’s Mosque.
