Kuala Lumpur, The Gulf Observer: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has affirmed that the Kota Madani Putrajaya and Bandar Madani Bukit Jalil development projects are advancing according to plan, with full incorporation of the Madani principles.

In a Facebook post, the Prime Minister said that the projects will reflect core Madani elements, including the introduction of vertical schools and integrated community facilities aimed at enhancing urban living standards.

Anwar stated that he received the latest updates during a briefing on several key development initiatives underway in Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya.

According to the briefing, Kota Madani in Precinct 19 is expected to include 10,000 units of high-density residential quarters designed to house more than 30,000 residents. The development will also feature a secondary school and a range of public amenities.

Meanwhile, Bandar Madani Bukit Jalil will offer smart homes, vertical schools, smart mobility solutions, and renewable energy technology to support a modern and sustainable urban lifestyle.

The Prime Minister added that redevelopment projects in several strategic locations remain under close government scrutiny. He also reviewed progress on the construction of the Madani Mosque and stressed the need to accelerate the process to ensure timely public benefit.

The Madani Mosque, located on Jalan Masjid India and built on a Malaysian identity concept, will accommodate approximately 2,900 worshippers, including 592 in the main prayer hall.

Anwar reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring that all urban development directly contributes to public welfare by improving infrastructure, expanding modern facilities, and preserving the cultural and historical identity of urban centers.
