PNCA Hosts Screening of “Kazakh Khanate – The Golden Throne” in Urdu

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: The Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), in collaboration with the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Pakistan, hosted a special screening of the historical film “Kazakh Khanate – The Golden Throne,” dubbed in Urdu. This event marks a significant step in enhancing cultural ties between the two nations.

Attaullah Tarar, Pakistan’s Minister of Information and Broadcasting, and National Heritage and Culture, attended the event as the Chief Guest. In his welcoming remarks, Minister Tarar highlighted the importance of cultural exchange in fostering mutual understanding and strengthening people-to-people relations between Kazakhstan and Pakistan.

Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Yerzhan Kistafin, addressed the audience, emphasizing the ongoing efforts in cultural cooperation. He announced plans to organize similar events regularly in both countries and revealed that a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of information is set to be signed this year.

The event attracted a diverse audience, including representatives from Pakistan’s official, business, academic, and creative sectors. The film screening concluded with a standing ovation from the Pakistani audience, who praised the Kazakh actors’ performances and noted the cultural and traditional similarities between the two nations.
