Prabowo Subianto Pledges Significant Welfare Enhancement for State Apparatus

Jakarta, The Gulf Observer: Presidential candidate number 2, Prabowo Subianto, has pledged a substantial elevation in the living standards of soldiers, police officers, and civil servants if elected as the President of Indonesia in the 2024 General Elections. During the final session of the third presidential debate at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, on Sunday evening, Prabowo emphasized his commitment to significantly improve the welfare and life quality of these key personnel.

He assured that the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and National Police (Police) would continue to directly answer to the President under his leadership. Expressing gratitude to all state apparatus for their dedication, Prabowo acknowledged their efforts in contributing to Indonesia’s journey towards becoming a developed nation.

Furthermore, he reiterated his dedication to uphold Indonesia’s independent and active foreign policy, fostering good relations, and promoting economic cooperation with all countries. The third debate, organized by the General Elections Commission (KPU), focused on themes such as defense, security, international relations, globalization, geopolitics, and foreign policy, following the presidential and vice-presidential debates in December 2023. The KPU had earlier identified three pairs of candidates, including Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, numbered as pair 2, among the contenders in the upcoming elections.
