President Aliyev Announces Reconstruction of Aghdara as Future Industrial and Tourism Hub

Baku, The Gulf Observer: President Ilham Aliyev has announced plans to rebuild the city of Aghdara, following the revitalization of nine villages in the district, during a meeting with residents of Ashaghi Oratagh, Childiran, Heyvali, and Chapar.

Speaking to the local residents, the President affirmed, “We will rebuild the city of Aghdara as well, just as we have already revitalized nine villages. We will construct the city too.”

Highlighting the district’s natural beauty and potential, President Aliyev emphasized that Aghdara is set to become a prominent industrial and tourism hub. “These refreshing places are a delight to the eye. Mountains, forests, fresh air, springs, and rivers are everywhere. That is why the future development of Aghdara will be very bright,” he said, underlining the government’s commitment to sustainable development and modernization in the region.

The initiative forms part of Azerbaijan’s broader efforts to reconstruct and develop areas liberated from occupation, combining economic growth with the preservation of the district’s natural and cultural heritage.
