President Aliyev Thanks Kazakhstan’s Tokayev for Support Following Drone Attacks on Nakhchivan

Baku, The Gulf Observer: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has expressed gratitude to Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev for his support and condemnation of Iran’s drone attacks targeting the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
In a message shared on his official account on the social media platform X, President Aliyev thanked the Kazakh leader for standing with Azerbaijan following the incident.
“I express my gratitude to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev for his condemnation of the attacks on Nakhchivan by the state of Iran and his support for our country, in the spirit of brotherly and allied relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan,” the post read.
The Azerbaijani leader highlighted that Tokayev’s statement reflects the strong spirit of friendship, brotherhood and allied relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
The message comes amid heightened regional tensions following the reported drone attacks on Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
