President Berdimuhamedov Meets Çalik Holding Chairman
Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on Sunday received Chairman of the Board of Directors of Çalik Holding, Ahmet Chalık, for discussions on expanding cooperation and reviewing ongoing projects between Turkmenistan and the Turkish conglomerate.
During the meeting, Ahmet Chalık expressed deep appreciation for the opportunity to exchange views with the Head of State, noting that the opening of new facilities and foundation-laying ceremonies in the Balkan velayat reflect the growing economic power of Turkmenistan. He commended the nation’s remarkable achievements under the leadership of President Berdimuhamedov, emphasizing that the initiatives launched by the National Leader of the Turkmen people are being successfully realized in the new era of development.
The businessman underlined that it is a great honor for Çalik Holding to contribute to Turkmenistan’s large-scale national programs and infrastructure projects, reaffirming the company’s commitment to continued partnership and excellence.
President Berdimuhamedov, in turn, highlighted the long-standing ties of friendship and brotherhood between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Turkey, which have steadily strengthened since independence. The President noted that cooperation between the two nations is flourishing across multiple sectors, including energy, textiles, construction, and industry.
He also drew attention to Turkmenistan’s ongoing energy initiatives, particularly the construction of a combined cycle power plant on the Caspian coast, which will enable electricity exports to neighboring states, including Turkey, and further to other markets.
President Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that Çalik Holding will continue to implement projects of national significance in Turkmenistan, utilizing advanced technologies and modern equipment that meet global standards.
Concluding the meeting, Ahmet Chalık conveyed his sincere gratitude for the trust and support extended by the Turkmen leadership and assured that his company would continue to fulfill its contractual obligations with the highest level of responsibility and dedication.
