President Ilham Aliyev Congratulates Amir of Qatar on National Holiday

Baku, The Gulf Observer: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has extended his congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, and to the brotherly people of Qatar on the occasion of the country’s national holiday.

In his congratulatory message, President Aliyev noted with satisfaction the high level of Azerbaijan–Qatar relations, emphasizing that the ties between the two countries are rooted in shared religious and cultural values, brotherhood, and Islamic solidarity. He expressed confidence that joint efforts would continue to further strengthen interstate relations based on mutual trust and support, and to fully realize the potential of mutually beneficial cooperation at both bilateral and multilateral levels.

President Aliyev also conveyed his best wishes to the Qatari leadership and people. On the festive occasion, he wished His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani robust health, happiness, and continued success in his high state duties, and extended wishes of lasting peace and prosperity to the brotherly people of Qatar.
