President Ilham Aliyev Extends Condolences to President Erdoğan over Turkish Military Plane Crash

Baku, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to convey his condolences over the crash of a Turkish Air Force military cargo plane in Georgian territory.

During the call, President Aliyev expressed his profound sorrow and extended heartfelt condolences to President Erdoğan, the families and loved ones of the perished servicemen, and the brotherly people of Türkiye.

President Erdoğan expressed his gratitude to the Azerbaijani head of state for the call and the message of sympathy.

It was noted during the conversation that the relevant state institutions of Azerbaijan and Türkiye are maintaining close contact regarding the tragic incident.
