Gabala, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev today met with Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orbán in Gabala.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Orbán highlighted the importance of his previous visits to Azerbaijan and his participation in the informal Summit of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) held in Shusha.

Both leaders fondly recalled the informal OTS Summit hosted in Budapest earlier in May this year, reflecting on the growing cooperation and mutual understanding among member states.

The discussions covered a wide range of topics, with both sides highly appreciating the current state of relations between Azerbaijan and Hungary. They exchanged views on enhancing cooperation in energy, investment, agriculture, tourism, and other priority sectors.

The meeting also underscored the active participation of Hungarian companies in reconstruction efforts, particularly in the construction of Soltanli village in the Jabrayil district, as a symbol of the deepening partnership between the two nations.
