President Ilham Aliyev Pays Respects at Independence Monument in Tashkent
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, accompanied by First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva and their daughter Leyla Aliyeva, visited the Independence Monument in Tashkent on Thursday, as part of his state visit to Uzbekistan. Upon their arrival at the monument, a guard of honor was assembled in recognition of the Azerbaijani leader. President Aliyev laid a wreath at the monument, paying tribute to Uzbekistan’s enduring spirit of independence.
