President Ilham Aliyev Pays Tribute to 20 January Martyrs at Alley of Martyrs
Baku, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on January 18 visited the Alley of Martyrs to pay tribute to the cherished memory of those who lost their lives during the events of 20 January.
During the visit, the head of state laid a wreath at the “Eternal Flame” monument in honor of the martyrs. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed as part of the solemn ceremony.
The visit reflected the nation’s continued respect and remembrance for the sacrifices made by the martyrs of 20 January, who hold a revered place in Azerbaijan’s history.
