President Ilham Aliyev Visits Baku White City, Inaugurate New Urban Landmarks

Baku, The Gulf Observer: On December 29, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, along with their daughters Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva, visited Baku White City.
During the visit, the head of state, the First Lady, and their daughters were briefed on the Karabakh Horses sculpture complex and reviewed the ongoing development works in the Babek Quarter. They also planted the first oak trees in Palid Meydani Park, symbolizing the area’s commitment to environmental sustainability and urban greening.
The visit further included participation in the official opening of Zaman Square and its newly constructed pedestrian bridge, marking an important milestone in the continued development of Baku White City as a modern urban district.
The visit underscored the leadership’s attention to urban renewal projects, cultural symbolism, and the creation of modern public spaces aimed at enhancing the quality of life for residents and visitors alike.
