President Ilham Aliyev Visits Pakistan Monument in Islamabad

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, paid a significant visit to the Pakistan Monument in Islamabad today.
Upon his arrival, President Aliyev was welcomed with a guard of honor at the square adorned with the national flags of Azerbaijan and Pakistan. Demonstrating respect and solidarity, President Aliyev laid a wreath at the monument.
The ceremony proceeded with the recitation of Surah “Al-Fatihah,” adding a solemn and respectful tone to the event.
The Pakistan Monument, an emblem of the unity of the Pakistani people, holds historical and architectural significance. Its construction began in 2004, and the monument, which reflects the rich Mughal architectural style, was officially inaugurated on March 23, 2007.
This visit underscores the strong ties between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, reinforcing their commitment to mutual respect and cooperation.
