President Jokowi Invites Vietnamese Entrepreneurs to Invest in Indonesia’s Nusantara Capital
Hanoi, The Gulf Observer: Indonesian President Joko Widodo of Indonesia extended an invitation to Vietnamese entrepreneurs to invest in Indonesia’s new capital city, Nusantara, located in North Penajam Paser, East Kalimantan.
During a business dialogue in Hanoi, Vietnam, the President emphasized collaboration between the two nations and encouraged investment in various sectors.
Highlighting Indonesia’s significant carbon exchange potential, President Jokowi stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral ties to achieve shared goals of becoming high-income countries by 2045.
The President expressed optimism about VinFast’s investment in the electric car industry and urged collaboration with Indonesian entrepreneurs.
Additionally, development plans for airport and tourism infrastructure, including cooperation with Sovico Group and VietJet Airlines, were discussed during the meeting attended by key ministers and officials.
