President Lukashenko Sends New Year Greetings to Global Leaders
Minsk, The Gulf Observer: Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended his heartfelt New Year greetings to foreign leaders and prominent figures across the world, marking the arrival of 2025. The congratulatory messages were sent through the press service of the Belarusian President and addressed to a wide array of heads of state, political leaders, and key figures from various international and regional organizations.
Among the leaders receiving Lukashenko’s well wishes are Russian President Vladimir Putin, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kyrgyzstan’s President Sadyr Japarov, Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon, Turkmenistan’s President Serdar Berdimuhamedow, and Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Additionally, the President’s greetings were sent to global leaders such as China’s President Xi Jinping, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, India’s President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Brazil’s President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa, and many others from across Europe, Africa, and Asia.
Lukashenko’s New Year greetings also included messages to heads of international and regional organizations such as the United Nations, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the Eurasian Economic Commission, and the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). These messages reflect Belarus’ commitment to maintaining diplomatic ties and fostering collaboration on the global stage in the coming year.
In addition to political figures, President Lukashenko conveyed greetings to religious leaders, including Patriarch Kirill of Moscow, Pope Francis, and the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, Karekin II, among others.
As Belarus steps into 2025, these greetings underscore the nation’s desire to strengthen international relationships and continue its active participation in global affairs. Numerous responses from foreign leaders, international organizations, and public figures are already being received, demonstrating a shared commitment to peace, prosperity, and cooperation in the year ahead.
