President Macron Hosts State Reception for President Mirziyoyev at Élysée Palace

Paris, The Gulf Observer: The President of the Republic of France, Emmanuel Macron, hosted a state reception in honor of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the Élysée Palace.
The event was graced by official delegations from both countries, members of the Cabinet of Ministers led by French Prime Minister François Bayrou, as well as prominent figures from culture, art, science, business circles, and the public.
During the reception, President Mirziyoyev expressed his gratitude to Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron for the warm welcome and emphasized the historic significance of the day’s negotiations. He noted with satisfaction that the relations between France and Uzbekistan have been elevated to the level of strategic partnership as a result of these fruitful discussions.
President Macron praised the outcomes of the negotiations and the agreements signed. He highlighted the achievements made in recent years, emphasizing the establishment of long-term partnerships in key areas such as energy, water resources management, utilities, transport, and sustainable tourism.
The French President acknowledged the active role of French companies, which, with the support of the French government and the French Development Agency, are investing in Uzbekistan. These initiatives have led to the creation of added value and job opportunities, helping young people acquire professional skills and secure their future.
Both leaders reiterated their commitment to further strengthening Uzbek-French cooperation to promote the well-being and prosperity of their peoples.
