President Macron Visits Zayed National Museum in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic, visited the Zayed National Museum in the Saadiyat Cultural District, accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
During the visit, President Macron and the accompanying delegation toured the museum’s galleries, including the section dedicated to the UAE’s Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The gallery highlights Sheikh Zayed’s enduring human values and visionary legacy, showcasing his commitment to coexistence, modern nation-building, and the promotion of cooperation and cultural dialogue among nations and peoples worldwide.
The Zayed National Museum houses a collection of more than 3,000 artefacts, with 1,500 currently on public display. The visitor journey through the museum’s six permanent galleries begins with the Our Beginning gallery, dedicated to Sheikh Zayed’s life and leadership. The gallery presents his story through archival photographs, recordings of his voice, film footage, as well as personal belongings, letters, and correspondence, providing a comprehensive insight into the vision and achievements of the UAE’s founding leader.
The visit underlines the cultural and diplomatic ties between the UAE and France, reflecting mutual respect for heritage, history, and the shared values of dialogue and collaboration.
